Good close fight, could have gone either way.
Tunney almost brought himself all the way back.
This is probably a good thing....because I would have been forced (By Lonsdale Charter) to declare Gene Tunney the "Standing Lonsdale Champion" going into the LHW season had he won.
And that would have been helaciously controversial.
And as we all are aware, I hate controversy of any kind.
