This is genuinely a good thing for the sim. When a match like this takes place, and one fighter is so obviously been given the benefit of every possible doubt and option to come up with such a controversial win, it's good that the beneficiaries of such luck would offer something back to the victim.
Kid Norfolk will not let things devolve in the manner they did the first time out. He will come in prepared, and not drunk from weeks of partying. All will be set right.
