I'm looking for information regarding Bill "The Pride of the Brooklyn" Maxwell. I know he boxed bouts at the Phoenix Club at Pearl Harbor. He fought "Doc" Hess of the USS Monterey.
He was at one time the manager of Smiley Miller.
