Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
Re: Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
Is this adult Elite tournament?
Re: Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
Yep Barnes, Conlon, Nevin are Olympic medalists, Ward European Senior champ, etc.
Re: Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
I find Nolan's win very surprising.Vastine has operated well in better class.
Re: Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
Nolan has done really well domestically but lack of experience, confidence and stamina have held him back so far. In last years nationals for example he won out from Willie McLaughlin, Jason Quigley, Michael O'Reilly, Patrick Gallagher, Roy Sheehan, Phil Sutcliffe, and JJ Joyce. All these are class performers, Olympians, WSB boxers, European medalists, Commonwealth champions etc. The best may yet be to come for Nolan.
Re: Ireland v France, Cork 3 may 2013
Well done Ireland. By the looks of those scores, it looks like France didn't bring any R/J's to Cork.
