Canto/Oba.
Canto/Oba.
These two missed each other by just a few years; how would this have gone? El Maestro by decision for me.

Re: Canto/Oba.
If Oba had lived on, I can't see this bout taking place, Oba seemed to be destroying himself to make 112, he's probably getting stopped if it took place when Canto had "arrived".
Had taken place earlier it'd have been a much better bout, with Canto just nicking it.
Had it taken place at 118 where I believe Oba was heading very quickly it'd have been very interesting.

My idea was to match them at their best at flyweight (or at least the best we saw of Oba).iamasadlittleboy wrote:If Oba had lived on, I can't see this bout taking place, Oba seemed to be destroying himself to make 112, he's probably getting stopped if it took place when Canto had "arrived".

Ohba would've been very bad news for Canto, in my opinion. Rapid fire jab and all around offense, ranginess, etc. Not good for someone of Canto's stature and mid-ring, polite, pick your spots style. Even if the weight-draining were to take its toll on him, Canto sure as hell wouldn't have been stopping him.
At Bantamweight? C'mon, Canto was a midget even by Flyweight standards.
