I reckon it will do quite well because it is pretty rare for one to come on the market and they will always generate considerable interest regardless of whose belt it was.

theres a lonsdale belt on display over london docklands museum won by a fella called johny brown 1923 who whent to live in south africa from what i remember when i whent there and it is beautiful i must of stood there looking at for 30 mins ide love to own one of them what must it feel like to win one ![[icon_notworthy.gif] :bow:](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)

it didnt make the reserve of £30,000,no doubt that belt will end up across the pond by a collector. i dont know why the bbboc wont buy it and keep it here

Lonsdale belt was stolen in Burnham recently I believe it was from 1937
