Why at lightweight? Why not at 130? Don't think it's an interesting style match up at all.Rover wrote:At lightweight. Interesting style contrast. What happens?

Because they were both titlists there. What did Spadafora do at 130?CrazyHorse wrote:Why at lightweight? Why not at 130? Don't think it's an interesting style match up at all.Rover wrote:At lightweight. Interesting style contrast. What happens?

Spad started his career at 130 actually.
Valero was obviously the more accomplished boxer out of the two.

Spadafora accomplished nothing of note at 130. Arguello started as a bantamweight, too.CrazyHorse wrote:Rover wrote:CrazyHorse wrote:Because they were both titlists there. What did Spadafora do at 130?

Valero was more accomplished in that he won belts in two divisions, if you judge accomplishments that way, but he certainly wasn't more accomplished at lightweight, where he won a belt, made two defenses and then died.
