You notice the Hearn's don't have steam coming out their ears or emails coming out their back pockets within 15 seconds of the interview starting.

I usually like the Hearn’s although I think Barry was being a little arrogant in that video. Having a pop at Hatton and McGuigan. They all wish they could be Barry Hearn... Ricky Hatton will be remembered before Barry Hearn...

I've always liked Barry Hearn and Matchroom do have a great reputation, but there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and I think it got crossed there.

Saying that.... Yes I would love to be Barry Hearn, only a little bit younger :D

At this current stage of their new careers I think its fair to say they do wish they could be Barry Hearn. Or at least have the TV dates and financial security that he has. Arrogant of him to say so, but each of them would swap places with Hearn in a second.

Always a good listen is Barry, enjoyed it

Wouldn't surprise me, Barry tore him a new one in that vid.

Can imagine FW's blood pressure rose another couple of notches.

Says the lower ones may like they are now (Ryder), but none of their marquee fighters.

Hearn basically said his son is better than all the other promoters put together (imo...not hard when your the only one with a sky deal)...said warrens company is in financial ruin and when asked about warrens comment about driving him out of boxing....he said the only way warren is driving him out of anything is if hes his chauffeur!!! Also said he would never let any of his main fighters fight on allegedly however fighters less established like ryder he has no problem letting them fight on other channels.

Good interview....wonder why it got took down.

Couldn't be any more libellous than what FW said about Purdy.

Assumed it was fact, he doesn't strike me as a bulshitter.

Barry himself tweeted he was in the sauna with Purdy, breaching board rules.

It's the letting live part the board are worried about. Purdy was taking off too much weight.

Wasn't Hearn and Franky in business together briefly on some new venture a few years back?
I remember reading about it vaguely - it obviously went tits up real quick and I guess that's whats really started off the beef....it might even be the reason why Barry sent his son fast car to 'evenge' him for Frannk running him out of boxing :OhYes:

Wasn`t it a tweet from Eddie not Barry I think and it might of just been a jokey comment which has been pounced on because in Barrys interview he said they didn`t go in to a sauna.I might be wrong though
