This is what I always sad. DM won´t fight in Light-Heavy anymore. There´s no challenge for him. A fight vs RJJ will never happen.
I think he has a chance against Brewster. He has chin and power. I think in saying Brewster is the worst heavy champ of all time might be right. But are Byrd or Ruiz better?

DM has been sparring with good heavies for a long time. he is as tall as Brewster is. he has power and chin. The only thing against him is his age. maybe he will make 2 or 3 fights then his career is over.Kilburn wrote:D-Man would get knocked around the ring like a rag doll. Brewster is a mediocre heavyweight not a useless one.
Michalszewski has no business talking about heavyweights.

i know dude was fishing for a bite (but not really.)BubiScholz wrote:J, don´t mix Ottke and DM. DM never ducked anyone. The reason that an RJJ-fight never happened was because of money.J wrote: joe calzaghe should he beat Johnson and thats an if substantial enough.

Sorry but bullshit, he is a hard decent pro if limited in some areas, he has good ringmanship and is a good challenge at light heavy for Calzaghe. I wouldnt put money on darius beating him thats for sure.BubiScholz wrote:I think Calzaghe goes back to Super-Middle. Or has he fear to fight the two danish guys? Glencoffe Johnson is a joke anyway.

It's amazing how anyone can watch Glencoffe Johnson, and say he's nothing special. He's never going to be mistaken for RJJ, but he will give anyone else in the division a bloody hard fight. He basically beat Gonzalez and got screwed, gave Ottke a bloody good fight.
Glen has been screwed more times than a nyphomaniac rabbit.
The only man to ever beat him really emphatically was Bernard Hopkins.

THAT SO CALLED BRITISH GUY WAS A VERY DECENT OPPONENT CLINTON WOODS. 35-3-1 (21 kos)BubiScholz wrote:I watched Johnson vs another British guy this year 2 times. Believe me, a top trained DM would knock Johnson out. It´s another league. Johnson isn´t bad, but he is no top fighter in light heavy.
went a good few rounds 6 with Jones for the undisputed Light Heavweight champ of the world something Darius never had the bollox to go to the states and do.
Sorry its not often I disagree so strongly with you bubi but in this instance I refute your comment mate.
Johnson is in no way a joke he is a decent and worthy if unspectacular champion.

Right why are you implying Ottke has ducked someone. He never ducked Calazghe, quite the contary Joe was being a coward arse little faggot like normal and offered him like a quarter of his normal pay to come fight him in home town yeah shore he totally ducked him if thats what you call ducking looks like Hopkins did the same.BubiScholz wrote:J, don´t mix Ottke and DM. Hopkins ducked Ottke yeah right, and JC did too.
Of course.
Seocndly you are so strong in your accusation and then fornicate it by saying Im not sure? Whats all that about?
You cant say someone is a coward then retract it in the same statment, makes no sense
Ok I was saying Ottke and Hopkins did not duck Joe.
Joe offered Ottke a tiny purse to come over to England and fight him, Too bad he makes up to 3.5 mil to fight at home.
Joe offers Hopkins 2.5 mil to come up to Super and over the England to fight.
Yeah right Joe has got to be kidding himself and you and someone else said that Ottke was ducking people, Ottke alwayz takes the best into the ring and comes out on top 1 way or another, Joe takes the worst into th ring and looks good and then talks shit saying Ottke is too scared to come over hear and fight me, He even called out Syd Vanderpool and then when the Tables turned and Syd called him out Joe started saying he was a bum and not worth fighting, and then goes and takes on come guy on his pro debut.
Whos got the balls now Joe or Ottke.

Gonzalez is a good one. Johnson also lost against him. Gonzalez I think has just 2 losses. 1 against RJJ the other one against Erdei, the man of the future in this division. DM was not mentally focused in this fight. he was thinking to much about this fornicating Marciano-record. And, of course, DM is over his prime, but he is one of the best in this division of all times, and Johnson is not.J wrote:and and if Darius is in another league how the frigg did he lose to gonzalez?
I mean he is hardly up there is he with the likes of tarver and Jones, so i still say Johnsons is of similar all round quality to DM.
Another thing, J, I do not disrespect british boxers or Clinton Woods. I just lost his name.
NO of course not I didnt take it that you did. Think we have had enough conversation for me to know you arent like that mate.BubiScholz wrote:Gonzalez is a good one. Johnson also lost against him.
