Three Trivia Questions - Raise the bar.

Post by keithmoonhangover »

1. Which fighter had the most 2nd round knockouts?

2. Which fighter had the most weight gain from their first fight to their last?

3. Which fighter lost the most weight from their first fight to their last?

I don't know the answers, but I'm gonna start us of and see if any of you chaps can raise the bar on either question.

1. George Foreman - 19 2nd round KO's.

2. Gabe Brown +44lbs (First fight - 310 lbs. Last fight - 355lbs)

3. Brian Nielsen -7lbs (First fight - 245lbs. Last fight - 238lbs)

Darren Corbett turned pro as a heavyweight weighing over 220, slimmed down to under 190 to fight at cruiserweight but has ended his career 20lbs heavier than when he started.

He's not retired, but I bet Mundine will weigh less in his last fight than he did in his first.

There's a boxer I like that went down the weights. I cannot for the life of me remember him.

Georges Carpentier fought in every weight division that was around during his career, from when he began as a 14 year old flyweight to winning the Euro Heavyweight title and fighting for the world title at heavy.
Georges worked as a pit boy in the mines at age 12, so the ring must of seemed the safer option at the time

his weight would of been between 112 at the start to his heaviest of around 178lbs, a difference of 66lbs
