Thanks guys, went to a open sparring session with him and USA p.a state champ 10-0. The Australian looked very very sharp. Has a American style with Australian brawler when he needs it. Trainers stopped the session early. I'm going to watch his pro debut. Really looking forward to it. He looks like he will be a great pro.
Re: Young Australian debuting in states.
good luck, hope he goes well.
Re: Young Australian debuting in states.
Got knocked out in to second.
Re: Young Australian debuting in states.
Wow, i guess the three threads must of put a lot of pressure on the guy? knocked out by a guy who got knocked out in his only 2 fights in the first round......maybe a little bit over hyped.
Re: Young Australian debuting in states.
so much for my 10k bet for him to win a world title.

Usaproboxing thanks for the support mate. I did box poorly but. Dropped him 30 seconds into the first round and just got excited and try to finish it early. Got stuck in corner and ref called it. My mistake. Lack of expirince and I'm better now for it. Def learnt alot from a loss. Not planning on Beeing in that place again. Can't wait to get back home to aus and get back into it. Was awsome over here. Got trip to USA for three months payed for and 5g for one fight. Now to go home and have to work two jobs to survive. Thanks for the support mate, n to the other guys on this thread. Plz dont be quick to judge of one debut fight. B. Hopkins lost his debut. It's about how you bounce back and I'm going to be better and stronger.

Mate, i hope you learn't a lot from your expiernece, but don't reference BHOP, he didn't get stopped.
I hope things work out for you, but keep your head, work hard, and always know your limitations, strengths and weakness's and then build upon.
3 threads calling you the next big thing and it didn't look good from your end, whether it was you or USA boxing, we have a twit around here talking shit about an honoury American kiwi, who's the best Heavyweight in the world, we don't wish that sort of ill will on you, and hope thats not your path. I'm sure your not that sort of guy.

Theres a bloke that comes on here saying that all australian Heavies are avoiding some American from Newzealand, the idea behind it is to get his name out there, whilst upsetting people here with boxing knowledge.
Honorary, lives there, calls it home, but is still an American.
It's great that your kid cousin started a thread here, i hope everyone was nice to him, as i'm not sure this is the site for 10 year old kids at times.
No one should hate you, it takes guts to get into the ring, i'm just saying start a fan following with your hands, head and heart, thats what wins Australians over. Not words.
The advice given is sincere, know your limitations for now, know your strengths, identify your weakness's and work your ass off on fixing them.
Read a poem from Rudyard Kipling.
IF...
If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to broken, And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run - Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
