One of my all time favorites against one of my current favorites...tough one to call. I could see either one of them getting the better of it, I would figure it would be Gatti by decision or Maidana by KO. I think Maidana's added a little more craft to his game recently as a Welterweight...so I think Gatti has the edge in boxing skill in the proposed bout at 140.

I'll take Gatti by decision in a war...but it could go either way and would've definitely been rematch worthy.

Maidana would have massacred Gatti.

Couldn't see this lasting the distance. Seemed like it was fairly easy to draw Gatti into a war late in his career, negating his better boxing skills, and IMO that gives Maidana the advantage
