Any chance of getting the DK heavyweight bill in UK?
Any chance of getting the DK heavyweight bill in UK?
I know I am being a bit optimistic with the fights only being a few hours away, but does anyone know if there are any plans to show this Don King bill featuring the John Ruiz/Chris Byrd fights?
Obviously i'm not expecting to be able to get it live but how about a next day recording or something? I would be happy to wait a day or two and keep away from the news untill I see it.
I checked the sites of both SKY and the BBC and it isn't looking too good at all! :(

As I said on another thread, I haven't had Sky long and I'm pissed off with them already. It's an expensive service, they probably have the footage yet choose not to show it. We might as well have less of Dempsey telling us how great everyone is and show a fornicating fight instead. And VK-Sanders PPV? Come on!Kevo wrote:What's going on at sky? Thats two weeks on the bounce now that there's been a big show in America, and thet havn't been shown. They may not be the best Shows, but i'd still have liked to have seen them.
I know! I mean a Lewis PPV is fine, even Tyson on PPV I couldn't argue with, but Klitschko fornicating Sanders! They'll probably get about four people buying it, and even then they will probably be trying to get the Fantasy Channel on!Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:As I said on another thread, I haven't had Sky long and I'm pissed off with them already. This may well be the first PPV I don't buy.Kevo wrote:I know! I mean a Lewis PPV is fine, even Tyson on PPV I couldn't argue with, but Klitschko fornicating Sanders! The BBC is turning into nothing more than a Highlight show ( Let's join the action in round 5) I wanna see the whole fornicating fight if it's not too much trouble!KOJOE90 wrote:Agreed, the BBC aint any better, more Boxing less blabbing please!!!!!Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:

I hope I don't cave in and buy the VK-Sanders PPV...don't intend to. I have more understanding if the BBC just want to show bits (though I obviously wish they wouldn't) as they have the whole country to take into account but if you've bought Sky Sports, that narrows the audience down massively and they should be doing better. I wouldn't mind but it's not as if it would be a great effort to do it. It doesn't even need to involve any studio work really. Just press play!Kevo wrote:The BBC is turning into nothing more than a Highlight show ( Let's join the action in round 5) I wanna see the whole fornicating fight if it's not too much trouble!KOJOE90 wrote:Agreed, the BBC aint any better, more Boxing less blabbing please!!!!!Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:

That would be good. But I'm sure you will agree with me that we should be getting all these simply from our exorbitant monthly sub anyway!KOJOE90 wrote:I feel the same way, if the PPV includes Wlad V Brewster and Spinks V judah in full I will quite likely get it.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:I hope I don't cave in and buy the VK-Sanders PPV...!

Will do.
I thought Byrd was very unlucky not to get the win ( and me too, I had cash on him winning
).
Golota was missing in close - Byrd was on ropes most of the time and countering very acurately. No punch on him though, so Golota was on him the whole way. The judges went for agression over punches landed, as usual.
