Boytsov is a better fighter and would normally win.
But with his inactivity/poor opposition the past few years, I'm not so sure. Plus, the fight in the UK with Chisora's promoter. The ref could stop it early if Boytsov is slightly hurt.

Boystov, if he's fit and doesn't have hand injuries, will knock Chisora out. He is seriously heavy handed, the fights he has had in the past few years where trial-horses have taken him the distance, he has suffered badly from hand injuries. I've followed Boystov since his pro debut, all his early bouts were live on Eurosport on Tuesday nights. When fully fit and able, he is a destroyer. It may be that the injuries have had a lasting detrimental effect but hopefully not, as he's a good fighter. I'd prefer to see Derek win but I think Boystov will flatten him.

Gotta agree with that Jim. Boystov hits harder and has more skill.JimJim2009 wrote:Boystov, if he's fit and doesn't have hand injuries, will knock Chisora out. Seen clips of Boystov over the years just never seemed to up opposition significantly and always got injured with had long spells out of the ring. However his style and Chisoras mix nicely so should make an entertaining fight. I'll wait until this one is signed first.

That's the crazy price the bookies would have opened up with gone.JimJim2009 wrote:Boystov, if he's fit and doesn't have hand injuries, will knock Chisora out. Fight isn't going to be on Sep 21.
Boytsov will fight someone else on Sep 14, Chisora someone else on Sep 21.
Boytsov-Chisora is in discussions for late 2013 or early 2014.

Good fight this. If Boytsov's going to do anything with his career then he's got to get past Del, which is no easy task. I'll play it safe and say Boytsov early or Chisora late.

For once id suggest that its Boytsov's people who are messing about.
this guy is hugely overhyped ...nothing special at all. and his people have done nothing for his career at all apart from build a bit of hype. there has never been any momentum to his career at all (injuries are not).

Chisora will meet Boytsovs staplemate Edmund Gerber for the vacant EBU title.
