Joe's a proud cat, he probably truly believed he could come back and avenge his loss to Foreman. He couldn't, but you gotta give him credit for trying. Most guys wouldn't go anywhere near a guy that obliterated them the way George did Joe the first time. He showed a lot of guts in even taking the rematch.
