Pacman Vs. Rios on SKY Box Office?

Post by chad »

As we have seen SKY have stepped up their international content for the next 2 months with 3 of their shows being provided by Top Rank.

Next Saturday when Haye faces Fury on SKY Box Office, Adonis Stevenson against Tavoris Cloud is also on SKY Box Office at 2am as part of the SKY PPV.

I remember Bob Arum recently suggesting that even in the UK Pacman is a PPV only fighter. Pacman faces Rios on the 23rd November, which is the same date Froch faces Groves. I wonder if SKY plan to get the rights for Pacman Vs. Rios for a PPV doubleheader?

Stevenson v Cloud is part of the PPV deal? Gutted was going to go back to my hotel after Fury shocks the world and watch that on sky go.

Pacman v Rios would be around midday here with it being fought in Macau so it'd be a shock if it was sold to us as a PPV.

It would be Froch Vs. Groves being sold as the main PPV with Pacman Vs. Rios thrown in as a "bonus" event.

SKY tried to do the same thing a few months back with Froch Vs. Kessler. Pascal Vs. Bute was also to be shown on SKY Box Office as a "bonus" event until it was cancelled.

Looks like PPV is once again a pain in the behind for SKY.
