Mayweather v Bradley
Horrible, can't see this one being appealing

Re: Mayweather v Bradley
It wont happen anyway because of the promotional situation.
Re: Mayweather v Bradley
Shame really as even though some may say it would be boring, who else deserves a shot apart from Bradley? Beaten Manny (debateably), JMM and Alexander, 3 top fighters as well as Provodnikov and Peterson. Can't see who deserves it more than Bradley.
Re: Mayweather v Bradley
This would probably be a snooze fest as others have mentioned, but it could be intriguing just as it may be one of the tougher fights for Floyd. They'd be trying to out bore each other all night.
I agree that Bradley deserves the fight more than anyone else though.

Re: Mayweather v Bradley
How does a top rank fighter get a fight with Mayweather? It's just not happening until Tim leaves Bob.

Tim only has one fight left on his contract - perhaps after that he will become a promotional free agent. Or join a rival promotion company.

I hope so.
Re: Mayweather v Bradley
I have a strong feeling that unless he get's offered a crazy amount of money he will leave. I dont think he's been happy with the way that Bob has handled his career since moving over in terms of the testing that was supposed to of gone a certain way *I dont even know if it went ahead or not in the end* and just little things like that. On top of that, Golden boy has all the best possible match ups for him in his weight class to be honest so I hope he does leave and joins golden boy.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Tim only has one fight left on his contract - perhaps after that he will become a promotional free agent. He'd be mental not to frankly, it's going to prevent him having the biggest fight out there. He's also become a big name with victories over Pacman (undeserved) and Marquez, and in a position to make some money. Why stay with Top Rank, what are they going to bring him that's better than a fight with Mayweather.Tomasino wrote:jamesmcdonnell wrote:Tim only has one fight left on his contract - perhaps after that he will become a promotional free agent. Rematch with Pacman is dangerous though, Manny is capable of turning the tables on the last result and even smashing him up - though I suspect Manny may be finished at elite level, it's certainly not a given.

He debatably beat Pacquiao? There is no need for any debate. He deserved to lose that fight.

Re: Mayweather v Bradley
Would arum take the risk of setting up the fight with bradley and pacquiao,
if bradley beats pacquiao, and bradley leaves at the end of his contract, it just sets GBP up for a superfight
regardless of what you think of it as a contest, a man with 2 wins over manny on his record, not to mention JMM, Devon etc, fighting floyd, would be the biggest fight out there just now
as it happens i don't think it would be a bad fight. For me bradley would have to apply real consistant pressure to have any chance. boxing and moving isn't going to cut it. he'd have to try and walk through him and use his physical attributes, workrate and strength to unsettle mayweather. potentially a good wee scrap..... no?

Re: Mayweather v Bradley
Arum could offer a 2nd pacquiao fight and guaruntee x anount of money 'if' he signs on for another few fights. Surely he aint gonna jjst let him walk away into the arms of golden boy. As others have pointed out, golden boy looks like the place for him to go so arum has a tough job on his hands.
I also agree that bradley v mayweather could be a good match up, they would go for the gameplan of outworking mayweather and although mayweather has a bot of pop in each hand i reckon bradley would rightfully or wrongfully believe he could take a few shots from mayweather in order to get his own work off. Could be interesting but mayweather woukd come out victorious as usual.
