Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
I'm pretty certain she passed away within the past 5 years or so.
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
More 'facts' from a mentally-deranged stalker.
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
You made a big deal about how he was "Cassius Clay" before he changed his name.
He had changed his name by then, so going by your own logic, you should be calling him Muhammad Ali.
As an aside, some people were complaining awhile back about the hypothetical matchups clogging the board, well, what of all these posts designed to do nothing else than satisfy duce's exhibition of how much he hates Ali?
I mean it seems kind of strange to just let him fill the board with this garbage. It's pretty damn pointless.

I thought he met her in the park in Miami Beach before the great Sonny Liston fight number one?
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
That was Herbert Muhammad playing matchmaker.

That is how I thought he met her. I got it from the movie " The Greatest " starring himself and Ernest Borgnine in 1977.

'Cassius Says He's Married'
Cassius says he calls Sonji...... 'my lovely chocolate colored beauty'.

You're lying again Duchess.
This is what that report actually says.
The 'chocolate...' bit is a quote from someone called Brad Pye Jr.
You really are a simpleton.
In a story in the Los Angeles Sentinel, sports editor Brad Pye Jr. said Clay, whose sect name is Muhammad AH, "introduced a lovely chocolate-colored beauty as his wife" during an interview in his hotel room. The story continued: "The champ said: 'Baby, tell Brad you're my wife.' "She answered: 'Yes, we are married.'

Plans to have children in '10-Years', when the World is Peaceful, but not in America,,,,

I'm a total F*****G Loon............
Does any of that bear any resemblence at all to reality or is it just pulled straight out of your fat arse, Duchess?

Problem is, I read the other one and it bore no resemblence to the nonsense you had turned it into with your bitterness and stupidity.
I suspect the fact that you are only semi-literate isn't helping you in your quest.
Maybe you could enrol in night classes to help you improve your comprehension skills.
Actually, I thought they had a type of special education unit in the forces for thickos; oops, I forgot you were never in the army were you.

I read the excerpt, sir. There is nothing in to substantiate Il Bugiardo, the board's resident Kleagle's suggestion.
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
Since you're role-playing as Ali's wife now, I'll leave you to it. There's a box of tissues on the table when you're done.

Duchess, I can picture you doing your ironing and singing along to this while waiting for "Big Jim" to come home from work.
Not that there is anything wrong with same sex marriages...
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
No need to question Il Bugiardo's homosexuality, real or alleged...It's his penchant for disregarding the truth that is disturbing.Giancarlo wrote:Il Duce wrote:Sonji Roi-Clay

You're wasting your time pointing out the lies; no one cares; it's much more fun to lampoon him; he hates being laughed at.
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
I'm just protecting the "record".

The 'record' is there for anyone to consult should they feel the need to.
The only record I care about today is the record I imagine the Duchess singing along to as she awaits the arrival of "Big Jim", the master of the house.

The Nation of Islam members hated her for being a 'free spirit'.
Of course they did.
But what did Big Jim think of her?
That's the question I want answered.
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
Anyway, back to the original question "Whatever happened to 'Sonji Roi-clay?'" She died in her hometown of Chicago in 2005 . . .
Re: Whatever Happened to 'Sonji Roi-Clay'
May god rest her soul.
Didn't know she had passed.
These trips around the sun, sooner or later take their toll.

I'm an Ali fan from way back, but I usually find Il Duce's posts interesting, even if he stretches the truth "a bit."
It's kinda like pro wrestling. You shouldn't let yourself get riled up over something that's obviously not legitimate.
It's put out merely to entertain. You've got a problem if you get apopleptic and take it seriously.
No one should think that a lone poster in cyberspace can possibly damage the Ali legend, with a daily array of tidbits.
