Local TV - any chance for Local Boxing?

Might be a long shot but I was reading on the web that sky are reserving slots on its EPG for local TV in the future (EPG 117 and 134 for Wales).

This got me thinking back to Channel M and their lovely, if cheap, output of Manchester boxing. There is often some sort of local boxing hitting the news locally. I remember a "Sports Wales" showing brief highlights of Calzaghe's proffesional promotional debut.

Just got thinking, any chance these could show boxing - even if the production isn't as slick as Sky's.

Possibly, but if the promoter makes more from TV money than he loses in ticket sales then there's no worries and being on TV doesn't seem to affect big shows, you can't experience the atmosphere in your living room.
