I would rather he faced King Davidson, he's on these shores now and going well.

Davidson's a light middle. He is fighting Lamptrey and says he has a big fight in March and it needs to be because Lamptrey is a step back from the last 4 fights.

Well he did score a career best win in his last fight; first time he had beaten someone with a winning record!

Is Frankie happy with this fight? There is almost no point.

Why not just give the title up then though mate? It seems a pretty pointless fight in all honesty.

You aren't really trying to defend this opponent? Come on mate they are taking the piss out of you. It is embarrassing. You are above being trotted out for fights like this now pal. I mean some on here even have you troubling the elite.

All due respect to Frankie, he was a superb world class amateur. He is nowhere near troubling "the elite" in professional boxing. I had Curtis beating him by two points. This fight is poor but he might need to see how his jaw stands up before going for a top 20 fighter. The elite are miles off just now. Best of luck to the man.

Personally I dont see how anybody can have him troubling the elite with how his pro career has gone so far, but PLENTY see something I don't. He beat Curtis though.

The elite are the likes of Floyd, Bradley and PAC. Nobody said he'd beat them, only Brook, who is a far cry from "the elite".

First fight back after a bad injury, a week before Christmas on another promoters show. Seems like a decent 'safe' type of opponent under the circumstances to me. Good luck Frankie.

You still think he beats Brook...
Take the blinkers off mickey as far as Frankie is concerned Brook is elite.

Frankie thanks for posting good luck with your next fight.
Get yourself a promoter who gives a fuk about you because unless you are the problem.
Of which there are rumours your treading water and will continue to do so.

Agree, I don't get it at all. Maybe people just look at his amateur career and assume that means he's going to do well in the pros or something.

Frankie seems to be tougher and stronger than he looks; I was surprised how he dealt with Vassell; hopefully he'll get put in with someone recognised as being very good and then we can measure, he's been a pro 5 or 6 years so it's time to get cracking - I can't see the hold up but imagine theirs more goes on behind the scenes than in front of them.

Can I watch it with you and Curtis, please? :TU:

I hope you do achieve your goals in the pro game. All the best.

Yep, for example, just like Kell Brook for the last 9 years.

It's a totally pointless fight. I thought we were getting somewhere when he beat Vassell but it's been backward step after backwards step since then. It's already been downgraded to just a good opponent in March. There's no point at all fighting this guy should drop the belt if it's what it takes

Kell Brook who is mandatory for the IBF? I dont mind a weaker fight if there is a point. Thought none of Kells have been this.
