How long would he have held the Heavyweight Championship, if there was no 'Rumble in the Jungle'
and no Muhammad Ali.
Does he keep it until losing to Jimmy Young in 1977.

Re: George Foreman 'If there was no 'Rumble in the Jungle'
Is there any logical reason why Foreman would have a rematch with Wepner?
He beat him pretty convincingly and swiftly in 1969 so why the call for a rematch? Could they sell tickets to that match?
When Ali took on Wepner they had no previous history and Ali was looking for a relaxing payday against a white fighter in his first title defense.
Part of the hype was that Wepner had never been down and Ali would attempt to become the first to accomplish that feat. Even Dundee admitted that Wepner had indeed been knocked down before but he needed to juice up Ali to get him interested in the bout.
But Foreman-Wepner II? Can't see it happening.
