Kugan Cassius
Kugan Cassius
I always see people complaining about some of the interviews he does, I for one follow boxers like billy joe Saunders because of his early videos with ifilmlondon. Surely he's good for british boxing as he gets unknown boxers known. Is there anyone else out there who gets great footage?

I like his interviews, and iFL TV is great for boxing IMO.

I agree, I always see people complaining when he's filming at less known shows.zero wrote:Kyle1991 wrote:I always see people complaining about some of the interviews he does, I for one follow boxers like billy joe Saunders because of his early videos with ifilmlondon. It could well be jealousy, who wouldn't want to go about interviewing fighters and promoters for a living. Let’s face it they do a good job.Kyle1991 wrote:I agree, I always see people complaining when he's filming at less known shows.zero wrote:Kyle1991 wrote:I always see people complaining about some of the interviews he does, I for one follow boxers like billy joe Saunders because of his early videos with ifilmlondon. Re: Kugan Cassius
He's not exactly a Parkinson level interviewer, but he's doing something that nobody was doing before, and I think it's great.
Re: Kugan Cassius
Whats not to like? They do a great job IMO I really dont get any criticism, anyone who does not like it should not bother watching it, end of. Those being interviewed have agreed to it so its all good.
Roll on iFl TV (shame abou the name change, anyone know the ins and outs of why that had to happen).

Re: Kugan Cassius
I'd like him to stop saying "was you" but on the whole I don't mind his stuff. His trick is basically just let the other person's ego take over and let them babble on for ten minutes. It's the sort of stuff that would get cut short on TV but it gives you more of an idea of their personalities, I guess.
Re: Kugan Cassius
I like him, comes across as a nice bloke plus his name is great, sounds like a villain out of an Arnie film.

Warren is really missing the boat with IFilm. If you're watching IFilm then you're clearly a boxing fan - very little content involving his boxers these days though. A great publicity opportunity lost IMO.
Re: Kugan Cassius
i thinkthey are great and would rather watch their videos than some of the other sh*t that is on tv in the evenings
Re: Kugan Cassius
I like his interviews and he is great for boxing fans. You can tell he comes on here a lot as he often uses the same questions or topics that are being discussed.

he does a good job, very good for the british boxing scene.
Re: Kugan Cassius
He is a nice bloke doing a good job in a field that doesn't get much exposure. A boxing fan, so no, I have nothing but praise.
W@rren is definitely missing a trick but meh....his own fault for threatening to sue etc..

I think it was basically because there is a company called IFILM and one called Film London and it was ruled that IFILM London was too similar to both of them so they had to change.ALI wrote:Whats not to like? I think they do a great job, check out their Youtube page, there's so much more than chats with Eddie (which I find interesting normally, although some find as evidence that Matchroom are the evil paymasters of Ifilm).
Even brief interviews with undercard fighters get at least hundreds of views, how could that be bad for the sport?

Apart from that period when the relations were murky they have been at almost all, if not all of Mr Warrens press conferences. You can't say the likes of Chisora and co have been interviewed less than the likes of Burns. It's just that Hearn does so many more shows at the mo that it gives the illusion he is being favourtised.Black Sam Bellamy wrote:Warren is really missing the boat with IFilm. Also Kugan Cassius blatantly isn't his real name. His real name I think is something Khan. When he did a q + a recentlyish with Hearn he twice had a question sent in by someone with the sirname Khan and twice Hearn went 'is that a relation.' Unless it's a gag I missed and judging by the slight smirk that came over Kugans face I'd guess he uses an alias.
Re: Kugan Cassius
Can't knock it. Though I do miss Warrens rants and emails.

Warren and the Barry Hearn interviews were the best.Naandrew wrote:Can't knock it. Though I do miss Warrens rants and emails.
Re: Kugan Cassius
Interviews are too long for me, would rather read a written interview, but some people like them so I see no reason for him to stop.

There's a Sri Lankan lad in our office and his name is Kughan so I'd say that bit it legit at least.jameswilson wrote:Apart from that period when the relations were murky they have been at almost all, if not all of Mr Warrens press conferences. Both James and Kugan do a great job. Kug gets more attention and is more out going but James is a top lad as well. I had James over at my show in Belfast and he was very well received.
I've spent that last couple of days watching all their content and it's been magnificent.
Keep it up lads!!
Re: Kugan Cassius
They are great for boxing. IFilm cover every level of fighter, not just the p4p; how can you knock that.

There great and do top class interviews, and we should consider ourselves lucky in europe as we have them instead of a 5 star retard like Elie Seckbach.
