Your Eddie Hearn what would you do?

Post by hurlock »

Firstly I'd take a restraining order out on kugz for starters :OhYes:

I think it's important he sighns up groves especially as booth left him for dead! Had groves won last night he'd of hit jackpot & had booth truly believed that he wouldn't of parted & now eddy can capitalise. I'd also tap up degale as he also is the future of the division.
If you want George to do well you get him a fight to show off to his new hoard of fans & rebuild his stock up then make the return or in frochs favour you make him fight Kessler as an eliminator or somebody at that hard standard which burn you out!
I'd personally invest in degale , get him a shot v froch & manage him, George is too buisness mad & wants to form his own company which I'm against because it's not about fighters doing well it's about your up & coming kids on the promoters books. I mean how many kids done great out of hattons fights & got great expieriance & a taste for the big time

After a run of stinking decisions, bad stoppages and horrendous refereing on some of their recent shows, for the sake of Matchrooms good promoter image, I'd do everthing in my power to ensure Groves gets an immediate rematch with Froch.

Its the fight which makes the most money for fighters and promoter, you can guarantee Eddie is pushing for it.

Get a rematch set up, hold it somewhere like Donny Park where you can get 100's of thousands of spectators, bring Mayweather over to fight Brook on undercard, get Ricky Hatton as the MC cracking jokes, flyover by the Red Arrows and get the old Guns 'n' Roses lineup back together to do the entry music.

Rematch with Groves immediately otherwise Groves will leave Matchroom.

Forget Degale as a previous poster mentioned. Degale is not in their league and is more likely to be fighting Eubank for a fringe title in a year or so.

Sign Groves up and make:

Froch vs Ward
Groves vs Kessler

At the city ground.

Sign Groves and go looking for Bika. The rematch will be different, I would fancy Froch by stoppage more decisively this time. If Groves fights and loses to Carl again two steps back for George. He beats Bika unification bouts possibly looming.

George should be looking to stay with Matchroom Sky sports is where it's at, and within a couple of years George could be a looking at fighting Ward.

Bika is fighting Anthony Dirrell. There's a good chance he wont have that belt soon.
