More Hatton talk

Post by stujones »

I've been getting strong vibes from reliable posters on non-british forums that this will be Hatton's next opponent.

I think someone else here tipped this guy.

Good KO record and undefeated, but untested. Any good?

Might be acceptable, according to boxrec he's a genuine Light Welter, which is something.

This dudes name does seem to be cropping up on a few web-sites. Seems to be a genuine 10 stoner which makes a nice change and also seems to have a punch. Having said that does anyone recognise many names on his record?

To be honest, if this is the fight I will not be to dissapointed. I was looking forward to the Pinto fight immensely and I saw it as Hatton's major test.

However, both Mesquita and Pinto look big Light Welters, relatively untested who can pack a punch. I wonder if people will be looking forward to Hatton vs Mesquita as much as Hatton vs Pinto. The one draw back with Mesquita when comparing him with Pinto, is that Pinto was a fantastic amateur - I don't recall Mesquita as an amateur.

The main event in this bill is enough alone for people to be excited by the bill.

Real Deal, like I said I did remember one guy mentions Mesquita here, but I couldn't find the thread.

I think I read in another thread he was scheduled to fight Hatton a few years ago but pulled out. He was also scheduled to face Ndou last month, but pulled out.
