...of the scheduled fight with Ricky Hatton in December 2002. He pulled out five days before the fight and Joe Hutchinson stepped in.

this is fast becoming a friggin joke.
Tell you what if that happens I wonder if we as the masses could complain in some formal capicity to the promoters / some omnibudsman for misrepresentation as the tickets are sold as Hatton on the bill.
Ie. thats the selling point and it is fast becoming clear that its possible Hatton isnt in shape to fight no opponent announced and they are selling the tickets on the basis that its a double header still today on the relevant sites, tell you what if it does happen Im gonna look into it.
Its one thing a an opponent pulling out but selling tickets when theres no intention of one of the major draws / selling points fighting is another.
Agreed once you get the tickets its states on the back that any subs due to injury etc you cant get your money back but this I feel is a totally different matter.
having said all that we dont really know whats going on do we. I would be very surprised if he doesnt fight but it doesnt sound promising. I and seven other people I know who have weighed out a lot of money for tickets /hotels /train tickets and thats b4 you even get there, we will be totally gutted if he doesnt get a fight. Especially as one is coming all the way from Singapore.
