Audley has NO confidence in his chin

He looked genuinely wary about mixing it with Francis, a frankly feather-fisted Heavyweight. For the first 6 rounds it was like watching a game of tig. He wasn't in with Tua.

Even when it was evident that Julius had nothing left in the tank Audley was reluctant to go toe to toe.

Every time Audley has a fighter coming towards him he goes to pieces and looks to hold. It happened vs Krence, Calloway, Ellis, Hersisia. Even Negus.

I would be very surprised if he risked the gravy train against Skelton, who always comes to fight, well, brawl.

I think he'll mop up easy money against faded forces and obscure never-beens for as long as he can still half-fill venues.

There is no genuine ambition to step up to the plate.

and quite rightly too, he hasn't been down yet but he's been wobbled by Krence, Draskovic and momentarily by Francis. All super punchers

I would say Audley was more worried about his stamina than his chin. He could have gambled on getting Francis out of there early but it would have been risky in his first 12 round fight. It's highly likely that Francis would have survived the onslaught.

What we saw on saturday was the pace at which Audley can fight at over 12 rounds, and it's poor. Especially considering how little Francis was able to put into the fight himself.

Without the punch to discourage him, Harrison would crack under the pressure of Skelton.
