Yesterday there was a thread on here talking about the hell raiser shows. Quite a few people commented on the matchmaking. I stated that a lot of the fights were matching Micky's fighters against each other, I could be wrong but I didn't think that was allowed without permission from the board. I've woken up and looked on here to see if anyone else picked up on this.seeing as he gets 25% off each fighter and its a bit of a pisstake and low and behold the whole thread has been removed.have I touched on something noughty or does someone from hell raiser run this site.

hello mate.hows things. Not yet mate. To be honest , I wanted a few months away from boxing. Took over every spare minute I had for years and wanted to see a bit more of the family. Going to start looking for a couple of lads soon tho. Starting to miss it a bit

Haha.im not being funny but there's a lot said on here about other promoters matchmaking.i really thought the board needed to give permission for this thing and Micky has been doing this for years without not a sole bringing it up.i like mick but he'd match his mum against his nan if he was gonna get 25% off each. I don't mind so much when he puts the prospects against each other some half decent fights, it's when the prospects are in with the not even a whisper of a hope and expect fighters to try and sell tickets, put decent fights on and everyone buys tickets, simple business plan

I've again looked on here today to see if anybody has commented on this. So many people comment on other promoters matchmaking Yet no one saying anything about this. Do you mob know something I don't? I don't get why I'm upsetting an AppleCart. You can understand a promoter doing this every nown again when in a bit of bother but to do every undercard on every show is outrageous. Maybe when everyone is slagging warren they might keep this in mind.

I know a fighter who was unbeaten and matched with one of his fighters for a title a date venue agreed contract signed. Wen his kid who had home advantage cudnt sell tickets he pulled the fight got it moved to another show 7 weeks b4 the agreed date. Needless to say the fight didn't happen and the fighter then left him. Surely if u hav a fighter u know how many tickets he sells on average so why hav him headline a show wen u know his not a seller.

Hasn't he got something like 50/60 fighters that he manages ?

Its a clever business model if nothing else, he makes 50% of the total fight purses and they sell the tickets to cover the show costs ect ……and if they don't the show gets pulled …………

Please don't get me wrong. I have no personal issues with any promo/manager. I was only saying the other day on the thread that got pulled about the matchmaking. It was only when I mentioned about lads from said stable constantly getting matched together the thread got pulled and it wound me up.why should that not be said when all the other promotors constantly get ripped on here. Heard Micky is now on the board. If that's why they've turned a blind eye that's even worse and I want to know why.

Since johnny stopped fighting & getting punched in the head, he has become increasingly clever & is no longer on my wave length!!

I think you will find Mickey is one of the southern area licence holders representatives on the area council but he has no vote whatsoever

Ok, thanks. As I've said , I've no problem with mick.i just thought you needed permission and I don't see anyone else doing it The forum is always slagging other promoters shows and the were a couple of posts regarding matchmaking. Just when it got taken down soon as I mentioned it. It got my back up a tadge,like I shouldn't've mentioned it.
