It's a bit like Patterson's punch but Razor's has a somewhat upward trajectory. Pretty unique I think ..Tyson had an upward left like he used against Biggs and Ratliffe but slightly different in that the fist was usually vertical to the ground where Razors is almost horizontal. . .Cutman Scabbers wrote:Did any other boxers throw a punch like this, or did Razor invent it?

It's just a sort of hybrid hook/uppercut; I've seen plenty of people throw like that from time to time, but I think he's the only one who I've seen really throw it regularly.

It wasn't just the angle of the arm with Ruddock, though -- it was the way he dipped down (so his opponents probably though a body shot was coming) and exploded from the ground up.
