Here's to you granberry, wherever you are.

Re: Muhammed Ali Tribute thread
The best Ali moment was when he beat Spinks in the rematch and was standing in the ring basking in the adulation and sentimental appreciation he rightly deserved.
My prediction, though, is Duce soon will be a' trolling with the usual gang of hand-wringers whining about the trolling followed by BoxBuzz coming in to subtly rebuke all parties and close the thread.

Honestly. I almost wish we could just wipe Ali out of our f*cking memory banks. I get so sick of talking about him. Both positive and negative. We've ran every goddamn topic about this guy into the ground a million times over.
I mean Ali's a great fighter, but I mean....when you know good and damn well that these threads are just gonna turn into.
"Ali sucks and is a bad man"
"No he wasn't"
"He deserved a beating"
"No he didn't"
.....who the f*ck needs to read that sh*t 10,000 times?

I respect what Clay accomplished as a fighter.
But I don't respect him as a person.

For the record. My favorite Ali moments are, at the end of Round 5 against Foreman when he tags him with repeated one-two's off the ropes while Foreman is flailing wildly and getting hit seemingly at will.
The Fight of the Century: That was just a great moment in Sporting History period.
The Thrilla in Manilla: Again that was a great moment in Sporting History.
When he beat Sonny Liston the first time and was standing in the ring yelling "I'm only 22 years old I ain't got a mark on my face, and I just whupped Sonny Liston...I MUST BE THE GREATEST!!!"
Now Please....NO MORE F*CKING ALI THREADS. I'M SICK OF TALKING ABOUT HIM!!!!!

We certainly need another one of these.
My favorite moment was actually the Spinks rematch. I was young and didn't think he could pull it off. I think that gets under valued. He moved all night.
