R.I.P. Hap Navarro

Post by Chuck1052 »

According to Rick Farris, Hap Navarro, a Hollywood Legion Stadium matchmaker during the 1950s and
a virtual walking encyclopedia of California boxing history, has passed away.

My Dad's butt was seated at a fair amount of his handiworks. Mine at a few.

Interesting how our lives intersect. Hope his family was/is ready for his passing, and I wish them strength. But he was of an age where he could say he had seen plenty, done plenty, and I hope he enjoyed his own work. I know many others did.
