In my opinion, although I didn't see all of the fight, I am a little concerned that Oboh might be just starting to slide. I was quite surprised to see his mouth open and him needing breaks in a fight he seemed to be generally dictating.
I disagree with Duke McKenzie that we have yet to see the best of Oboh, but I do agree his is undoubtedly world class and I give him full credit for doing a number over an undefeated prospect.
I'm not sure whether Oboh, at 35, is starting to finding it hard to motivate himself to fight at this level or he is in decline. Like I said, at times he seemed to be fading and sometimes the light punching Lowe was able to push him back. I still like Oboh's chances against Tiozzo, and I really do think his promoters should press for this ASAP before Oboh slips.
I like to see Lowe vs Michaelenko in some kind of eliminator bout for the British title.

I thought Lowe would do much better than that, but I suppose without a punch you just can't stop Oboh breaking you down. Why can't Lowe punch?? He's got huge legs, his technique is not exactly novice-like. Weird, he just can't break an egg.
Oboh is one hard MF though. I'd like to see him fight Clinton Woods at some point.

Oboh is just so fit and unorthodox he will give any light heavy in the world nightmares....
He was sparring Erik Teymour last week and Erik said 4 rounds with him is like 8 rounds with anyone else......
Elvis is one of the fittest strongest guys around and just got outworked by Oboh, he won the early rounds then Oboh just kept plugging away with his pitter patter shots.....
He also has to be the most inactive pro in the world..... I hope he has a day job.....

I reckon Oboh would take Woods
I was exepecting Lowe to win but maybe i was looking at his wins over the likes of Neil Linford as forgetting Oboh is a step up from that level. If BBC cut out the inane chat then maybe we could have seen more of the fight but beggers cant be choosers. Lowe is a fast handed guy with reasonable skills but he simply can't punch, he showed great heart which i didn't think he had...overally i think he has found his level. Woods V Oboh, prior to Glen Johnson i would have picked the classier Woods but now i see the power and strength of Oboh being too much and Woods getting stopped.
