Herol Graham v. Michael Watson
Please discuss.
Re: Herol Graham v. Michael Watson
Bad matchup for Watson; Herol is too fast and elusive for him. 12 round fight, with Watson taking some rounds, and never quitting, but the result never in doubt. This is one of those fights where Benn has a better chance, though I consider Watson the better fighter.

Watson developed into a very good, strong and orthodox boxfighter; he had some very good results and put in some fantastic performances. He wasn't as good as Herol, no way. Herol beat Rod Douglas who was similar to Watson but more powerful and McCallum beat Watson every minute of their bout whereas Herol really gave McCallum fits. Herol would have beaten him pretty easily - people think he couldn't punch but upright men with a stiff jab got countered hard over it, under it and around it - I'd imagine a similar bout to Graham v Kaylor.
Re: Herol Graham v. Michael Watson
He stopped Ayub Kalule, Prince Rodney in the first (he later took Pyatt a lot of rounds, and lead the fight), good Light heavy Jose Seys, (went on to fight for the Euro LH title), Kaylor and Stackhouse. Herol was no pattie puncher.

I'd fancy Herol on points but its no foregone conclusion as Watson came super fit & ready to fight every time. I'd certainly pay to watch it!
