Morales will fight punkass Jimmy Barry happily Week 8. You laid down the challenge, and I've accepted. So are we on, or are you gonna reconsider now, and Moonwalk your way out of the negotiation room now that sh*t just got real. Your call Buzzy

gilga....we are a management team of extremely HIGH moral fiber.

And we are bound by our very integrity, to KEEP OUR HONOR CLEAN. And to BE TRUE TO OUR WORD.

It is very clear, that this would have happened IF this was the matchup thread (which it is not)

So to be true to our value system we must decline.

You are very lucky.

Just moving Buzz's first message.

AND MARVIN HAGLER

These poor excuse for fighters, (and their managers) should consider themselves VERY VERY lucky that such a thread has not yet been posted,

And thus, these fights will not be requested at this time. We repeat....we will NOT go through with this fearsome threat...and lucky for you that this is NOT the Week 8 Matchup thread. Lucky indeed....

Your boys shore missed a bullet this time around

But your day, may well come.

One never REALLY knows, when their name will be called. Let this be a lesson to everyone.

Commish Notice: 4 points - PLEASE READ

1. As you may have noticed mandatory title defences have been reintroduced back to the Sim. It prevents Managers from taking "easy" title defences and it is only applicable to the World Titles. So it's business as usual for the minor titles.

2. A mando title defence will be expected 1 week out of four for each World Title - but the other three quarters of weeks you may freely choose your elligible opponent to face.

3. If a World Champion decides to fight the highest ranked elligible challenger before his mando week - then the mando week will be moved back to it's next rotation.
EG. World Champ defends his WBC world title against the number one ranked challenger in Week 9, the next mando is week 10.
Seeing as he's fulfilled the requirement, regardless of the result - the WBC title will be moved to it's next rotation (Week 14).

4. World Title mandos do not affect each other and no two World titles can have their mandos on the same week, because a number one contender can't have two fights in the same week.

TITLE NEWS

For Manny Pacquaio:
Here are following elligible challengers for your World Title:

3 Barry
8 Fenech
11 Caballero - fighting Escobar for the WBA Title.
12 Morales
13 Jofre
14 Gomez

PLEASE NOTE: The highest ranked challenger this week is Jimmy Barry - if either World Champion defends against him this week their mando title defence will be moved back to it's next rotation.

(Managers should be aware that they might not get the benefits of that, and they may be "doing the work" for someone else to take the "easier" fights - it adds a new spice to the concept of title defences)

Caballero still wants to fight Kid Williams, and it willing to make this fight happen as sson as possible. But he's been offered a chance to fight for a World title - so he has to take it.

McGovern will fight Vazquez.

The Title unfications rules are still unchanged, a Champ must succesffuly defend his title three times in order for the previlege of unification
(and the Manager is awarded a replica World Title to keep forevermore in his stable).

Didn't expect to get a title shot so soon....

:witzend:

Cannonball accepts this title shot and hopes that Mr Kevo understands that a title shot always supercedes a normal non-title fight.

Crease.....turning this into the actual week 8 matchups thread is very embarrassing for GBP.....as it requires us BY HONOR

to make good on our pledge.

However we failed to mention that it was a limited time offer....and no one responded within this correct time line.

So we will announce our victims...uh I mean preferred opponents this evening.
