Billy Stevens Tillicoutry 1937-1950

Post by Brsteven »

Hi all. This is a very, very long shot. I just came across this website and am hoping some older boxing fans can help. Billy Stevens of Tillicoutry was my father. Many years ago I had a bag full of his boxing related photographs, which I carelessly lost in Glasgow not long after his death. If anyone has photos of him of any kind, or newspaper reports etc., I'd really appreciate if I could be sent a scan of it/them.

Many thanks to all

I've had a look at your Dads record, he was a busy fighter, over 150 fights to his name.

There are a lot of resourceful people on this forum, hopefully someone can help you out.

Thanks for the comment. He had a face to match the number of fights- cauliflower ears, thickened lips and a nose like squashed dough :)
