Anthony Crolla Vs John Murray.
Everyone I've spoke to has differing opinions or can't call who wins this. Just interested to see option in the forum.

Re: Anthony Crolla Vs John Murray.
Firstly, I would just like to say what a great (and refreshing) matchup this is. Its a real tough one.
I plumped for Murray purely because he has been at a higher level and Crolla, although improving, probably goes down if caught properly by the power of Murray. I just think Murray will walk through Crolla.
Saying that, it wouldn't be the biggest suprise me to see Crolla outpoint Murray!
Again, great matchup.

I've gotta say I haven't seen a card as good as this for a long time. I'm genuinely looking forward to it.Old Jack J wrote:Firstly, I would just like to say what a great (and refreshing) matchup this is. Its a real tough one.

I think Murray will be too insistent and grind out a stoppage, I don't think he'll look very pretty at the end of it though, he'll have to move his head else he'll get smacked himself.

The thing that worries me is that I don't think Crollla has the power to keep Murray off him. Lots of variables to take into consideration, two of the biggest I think are Murray's fitness and Crolla boxing smart and moving from the outside. If Murray gasses from chasing Crolla he will be there for the taking but if Crolla can't keep his discipline Murray will get close and it could be lights out.palooka wrote:I think Murray will be too insistent and grind out a stoppage, I don't think he'll look very pretty at the end of it though, he'll have to move his head else he'll get smacked himself.
