Porter v Brook
Porter v Brook
Porter looked pretty good on Saturday night v Paulie and in winning the title v Alexander and Brook has looked powerful in his last 3 bouts. If this bout comes off how do you think it'll unfold? Distance fight or stoppage win for which man and why?
Cheers :)
Cheers :)

Because it has to happen over the pond in that Shawn wont come here I think Brook has to stop him.
Big ask.
Let's see what unfolds.

Awful article.
Porter TKO.

''Kell Brook, who has had more stops and starts in his boxing career than a runaway skateboard''
did he come up with that little gem all by himself.
Re: Porter v Brook
No.Predictable Shawn Porter provides ideal challenge for Kell Brook
Porter demolished Paulie Malignaggi in four rounds but Brook should be encouraged by the American's severe limitations
Did Mitchell watch that fight? What a pillock!Judge CJ Ross disappeared from the scene after scoring Floyd Mayweather's walkover against Saul Alvarez a draw. Padilla should follow her. This was the second world title fight in a row when he was significantly at odds with his colleagues, having scored Danny Garcia's clear-cut win over Mauricio Herrero a draw.
Santa Cruz slicker than Rigondeaux? The clamour will grow for him to fight Carl Frampton, but it is obvious that will not happen until the Belfast fighter has his own world belt; to get that, he will have to beat probably the slickest of the super-bantam champions, Léo Santa Cruz.

Why would a runaway skateboard stop and start a lot? I don't get it.chiggsy wrote:''Kell Brook, who has had more stops and starts in his boxing career than a runaway skateboard''

Porter is going to Maul brook it will be like a pitbull vs a Poodle.
Brook is all bark and no bite and to this date has not fought any world class fighters.

I think the lad has got plenty of bite. Hardly a poodle.BAP1 wrote:Porter is going to Maul brook it will be like a pitbull vs a Poodle.

Brook hits way harder than PM that will calm Porter down.

I agree Brook obviously has a hell of a lot more power in his shots than Paulie who is positively feather fisted. Whether he has the skill and power to keep Porter on his toes remains to be seen.DMA1987 wrote:I think the lad has got plenty of bite. Re: Porter v Brook
Kell's definitely gonna take the fight to Porter more than Malignaggi and Alexander did and he,s quick and powerful,Porter,s definitely an improved fighter but i still reckon Brook has the tools to beat someone who drew with Julio Diaz not long ago

Brook's getting a whooping if he has the guts to take the fight.

Re: Porter v Brook
Yep then stopped him in the rematch and Porter won his rematch with Diaz more convincinly which for me me makes this a 50/50 fight which i feel Brook has every chance of winning even over there and i might feel Kell could stop him in styleHorse wrote:Brook struggled against Carson Jones.handsofstone wrote:Kell's definitely gonna take the fight to Porter more than Malignaggi and Alexander did and he,s quick and powerful,Porter,s definitely an improved fighter but i still reckon Brook has the tools to beat someone who drew with Julio Diaz not long ago

Re: Porter v Brook
Malignaggi looked like absolute sh*t, it was like watching Mr Muscle squaring off against Tyson.
Fair play to Porter though, he did a job on Maliganaggi and looked good in the process. Brook would definately be a sterner test, but Porter would probably wear him down in the mid to late rounds. Doubt it will happen, i doubt Brook will ever take a meaningful fight.
Watched a couple of post fight interviews with Porter, all sorts of oponents are being discussed for his next fight, including Mayweather! Brooks name never gets a mention, i doubt Porter even knows who he is!

If Brook doesn't get the Porter fight (or a high level fight as a replacement) then ill feel like giving up. Porter definitely doesn't want to fight him.ALI wrote:Malignaggi looked like absolute sh*t, it was like watching Mr Muscle squaring off against Tyson.

Brook's not beaten anyone close to the level of Alexander or Malignaggi and Porter's a clear level above both of them.handsofstone wrote:Yep then stopped him in the rematch and Porter won his rematch with Diaz more convincinly which for me me makes this a 50/50 fight which i feel Brook has every chance of winning even over there and i might feel Kell could stop him in style
Porter is the clear favourite for this fight if it happens.

Porter beats up and stops the over rated brook inside 8 rounds, how can a fighter like brook have a nick name like the special one, the most over hyped boxer in British boxing fact

Brook vs Porter would be interesting, so I doubt it happens.
