Parson was indeed right all along. I remained sceptical despite all the nonsense being spouted by various promoters of the various dinner shows.

I'm glad he's not coming. For me, the after-dinner-circuit should be reserved for retired pros with increasing waistlines and decreasing egos. Floyd should stay lean and mean for as long as he can.

The Leeds show will be the ONLY dinner show he will be attending.

Looks like it. I have been told that it was allegedly a contractual issue with the tour contracts. Gary Atkin's show was not part of the 'tour', it was a separate contract.

Sadly Floyd has pulled the plug in the 28th.

No surprise but I also have sympathy for the organiser as he'll feel the brunt.

Got a message after I posted mate. I'm pleased he's done that and I understand he was genuinely upset he couldn't do the 28th which is a bit more like it because my dealings with the team were how can I put it, tedious !

I wonder who people dealt with on the Floyd side arranging these
