I knew that Brits held the majority of the Commonwealth belts, but I was actually quite surprised to see that they hold all but two of them. The others are held by Ossie Duran of Ghana, who's based here anyway (and who I reckon may well be getting a new one torn for him by Jamie Moore shortly) and Steve Molitor, who looked tidy when beating Nicky Booth for the belt.
This, combined with some distinctly iffy African fighters being brought over for Commonwealth fights makes me wonder when the Commonwealth title's stock dropped. Has it dropped? Am I looking back through rose tinted glasses? I always seem to remember the Commonwealth belt being a step up from domestic class, now that's debatable. Why do the Australians, South Africans, Nigerians and Canadians not seem to be too involved at the moment? Bigger fights going for the NABA/ NABF/ NABO titles, and their South-Pacific/ African equivalents?
