Good idea. I'll start a Floyd v Pac thread when we're finished with this one.

I always got the impression Hatton ducked him and cited Witter turning up and one of his post-fight interviews calling him out as the reason - accusing him of being rude to him. Seemed a pretty crap excuse to me.
That said, you can't lay the blame at Hatton's door for the way Witter's career at the top level panned out.

Junior was a risky proposition and didn't bring enough to the table to justify taking the risk.

He meant Matthew Hatton, though there could be some confusion. Apparently he had a brother who boxed. Not sure if anybody knows anything about him....

using someone's mother to insult someone is near the height of idiocy in my book. Sort yourself out. Call me what you want but get some class mate.

What about McGuigan vs Fenech. I remember Jeff calling Finbar out back in the day. They both look like they're in decent shape.

LET'S GET IT ON :box: :bag:

This is the video where he mocks Witter in the ring, you have to hand it to Ricky - in his prime he was sharp.
