For those that care......
Amir Khan vs Mario Kindelan - Tomorrrow at the pre-olympic tournament.
This is where we will see how good Amir Khan REALLY is. Kindelan is special, so if Khan can beat him then I predict Khan for gold in Athens.

Jesus, this is a real hard fight for Khan. Kindelan is a modern day Cuban great.Southpaw Stylist wrote:Amir Khan vs Mario Kindelan - Tomorrrow at the pre-olympic tournament.

For those who don't know Kindelan, a little more about his pedigree.
He is the current Olympic Champ at 60 KG and national, world, pan-am and latino champion. He won Cuban sportsmen of the year last year and the director of the Cuban boxing team reckons he is their best fighter.
Should be a piece of cake for a teenager from Bury then.....

Any updates on this one? I hope Khan gets through it okay.Loynesy wrote:For those who don't know Kindelan, a little more about his pedigree.

Southpaw - No disgrace there, he is fighting a future two-time gold medal winner. The few times I have seen the Cuban (on TV) he looks immense.
Off-topic - was supposed to be going to the Olympic finals in Athens but have to be a best man at a wedding instead. My mate (the groom) pointed out that the Olympics are every four years and that a wedding should be for life - I have told him if he gets divorced beodre the next Olympics he is paying for our flight to Beijing....

Never realised that Ramsey has boxed Tszyu!! Sounds like KT was lucky the championships was in Moscow, if the match had been made in Digbeth, he woulda been in trouble... :Pbennie wrote:Two.
