Southpaw boxers?

Post by NYDominican »

Professional boxing's southpaw boxers. ------

Young Corbett III, Johnny Wilson, Jimmy Carruthers, Hector "Macho" Camacho, Pernell Whitaker, Marvin Hagler, Jose Luis Ramirez, Ayub Kalule, Michael Nunn, Antonio Tarver, Winky Wright, Manny Pacquiao, Chris Byrd, Joe Calzaghe, Tyrone "Butterfly" Crawley, Irish Bob Murphy, Gabriel Elorde, Rolando Navarrete, Sharmba Mitchell, Alan Minter, Juan Manuel Lopez, Naseem Hamed, Zab Judah, Ben Villaflor, Jean Baptiste Mendy, Sultan Ibragimov, Vassiliy Jirov, Ruslan Chagaev and Vic Darchinyan.

The boxers listed in the above paragraph, with their southpaw boxing styles. ----- Do you see any of them having a major advantage over boxers who fight orthodox?

If so, why?

Do you see any of them as being top 10 greats?

If so, who?

If you don't think any of them should be in a top 10 rank, did they have the ability and potential to?

If they did, was their southpaw style an asset to them?
