No, it really is a cracking match. I can see Hobson getting home after a struggle. Both fighters have improved since their last meeting, but I think Hobson's improved more.
This is one domestic showdown that is going to happen.

No. Maybe Sky had the date reserved for a Fight Skool event which never materialised. Either way, I'm glad to see a proper title fight between two proper fighters.

Are'nt Sky experimenting with Boxing on a Thursday Night, Sure I read somewhere that future fight nights are to be on thursdays with there specials (eg. Hatton, Calzaghe, etc) to still go on saturdays.

Its because they are pulling the some of the funding out of boxing and scaling it down.

Probably because of the shite Spunks Waxwork was dishing them. :x

How long has it been since Swaby last fought, its got to be a while now. For that reason I think Hobson will win by a unaminous decision (quite similar to Norton vs Hobson in scoring).

No Swaby fought recently in Sheffield. Unfortunately, he blew out someone in the first round. A good hard distance fight prior to a challenge like this would have given him a better chance. I think if he wins, he'll be the first Lincoln man ever to win a British title.

I stand corrected, but still as you suggested he's got to be rusty.

Robinson's in, I thought, for a relaatively easy night before Armour

Hobson to win this one. Late stoppage / points by a few.

Is there just no Saturday show because of the bank holiday? Last bank hols the big card was, I seem to recall, the one in Gravesend that Julius Francis pulled out of.

Got that prediction all wrong (well the manner of the victory). Top class performance by Hobson, who is just getting better and better.

Hobson vs Nelson is no forgone conclusion anymore, far from it.
