If anyones got any tickets they've got stuck with they want to shift on the cheap let me know as im in two minds weather to go or not and subsidise my mates tickets, i realise it maybe an unrealistic request or cheeky question but i thought i would throw it out there anyway
Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
I'd pay the full price for a ticket i really really want to go but getting any mates who are casual fans to fork for the full ticket price is not going to happen.

I heard ticket sales are still quite slow so if thats the case you maybe able to pick up a real bargain the longer you hold out..Finn wrote:I'd pay the full price for a ticket i really really want to go but getting any mates who are casual fans to fork for the full ticket price is not going to happen.

Frank should maybe have put this show on in london IMO if it was feasible then he could have got his big ticket sellers on the case like Mitchell Smith & Buglioni etc still think it will just about sell out but it must be a worry for frank
Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
Yeah i was thinking the same im not sure why they put the tickets at such high prices in the first place £87 for 1st tier is really high. They were always going to struggle to attract the casual fans with prices like that.Manchester Hitman wrote:I heard ticket sales are still quite slow so if thats the case you maybe able to pick up a real bargain the longer you hold out..Finn wrote:I'd pay the full price for a ticket i really really want to go but getting any mates who are casual fans to fork for the full ticket price is not going to happen.

There were cheaper tickets to start with, £44 (£40 + fees) but the problem was there was not enough of these.Finn wrote:Yeah i was thinking the same im not sure why they put the tickets at such high prices in the first place £87 for 1st tier is really high. It won't sell out, nowhere near. Get down there on the night and buy outside, you will get a bargain.
Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
This fight obviously isn't the massive draw that Frank Spank thought it was.Finn wrote:

Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
I think any other summer it could have been (more than it has been anyway), but unfortunatly 99.99% of the casuals have had their big fight of this year (Froch Groves 2)ILikeBeer wrote:This fight obviously isn't the massive draw that Frank Spank thought it was.Finn wrote:

Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
i think the trouble with this fight is that chisora isn't a draw himself and fury has already beat him without to much trouble so it doesn't get the heart beating thinking about the fight ,should of put the fight on in london i think

It would have done worse in London. Not a fight town...stevedoc wrote:i think the trouble with this fight is that chisora isn't a draw himself and fury has already beat him without to much trouble so it doesn't get the heart beating thinking about the fight ,should of put the fight on in london i think
Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
i think london is a big fight town but the fights have to be good as the froch vs groves proved ,having said that chisora has no fan base really ,not the most exciting fighter and it's really on fury to sell this fight so maybe manchester is the right placemickey1975 wrote:It would have done worse in London. Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
Got to be honest I never understand this sort of comment. The fact that London is massive means inevitably there will be more "fight fans" than another town. Plus people travel for boxing as they do any other sport. When I have been up to say Manchester for a fight there have been plenty of London accents in the crowd as well as plenty from other parts of the country. The right fight if its in a reasonably sized city will sell.mickey1975 wrote:It would have done worse in London. There are no London accents in London! I was at Froch-Groves 2 and it was mainly northern. I've been to the York Hall, The O2, Wembley Arena and they never sell out. For it's size, I think it's terrible. Manchester has been the capital of British boxing for years.mfc_se15 wrote:Got to be honest I never understand this sort of comment. even thou london is fall of foreigners fights are still watched mainly by locals rather than foreigners plus all the northern monkey's come down to see the bright lights as well. :)

problem is mate its a right mission to get up to manchester, get hotels etc when im not guaranteed a ticket.mickey1975 wrote:It won't sell out, nowhere near. Get down there on the night and buy outside, you will get a bargain.
Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
Ive just had a look on there but the cheaper tickets are for the top tier back corner. Lower tier is still around £78.ste1983 wrote:

Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
But thats still cheaper than the proper price you'd pay for the lower tier ones (if that makes sense)Finn wrote:Ive just had a look on there but the cheaper tickets are for the top tier back corner. Lower tier is still around £78.ste1983 wrote:

I'd be sceptical. They won't be central at that price, but still a bargain.Finn wrote:A mate managed to get me 3 lower tier tickets first ten rows central to the ring for £60 each from double8tickets. I'm buzzin.
Re: Anyone know of any cheap tickets going for Chisora v Fury?
yeah im still a bit sceptical but as long as its lower tier middlish ill be happy I've paid by credit card so I can always get the money back. The reviews on the site were very good my mate uses it for football tickets.mickey1975 wrote:I'd be sceptical.
