he was like that in the amateurs just liked to get into a tear up. i Never thought the pro game would of suited him as he hasnt got a punch on him but he seemed to be coming along nicely untill last night, but as you say it was just on cuts after he had it in the bag so he will come back from that knowing alot more

Thanks jonp. Did write a reply explaining that but never posted for some reason. The stoppage was well fair enough in my book. Could've been a lot worse for Matt

Good to see Truman getting a win away from home.

Been robbed a few times and will fight anywhere in the country.

Didn't see the fight but gave Lenny Daws all sorts of trouble by all accounts.

Remmeber seeing him fight a few times early on in his career (including against you Johnny at Wolves civic)

Haha.yeah he mentioned how I was talking to him all the way through. Real nice fella. I'd always prefer being in the winning corner and get on well with macarthy but I always like to see an old opponent doing well. Would've rather enjoyed it just watching.

Hibbert was up against Michal Dufek (10-7-1) who had never been stopped before. Dufek has fought Nathan Dale and Terry Flannaghan so it was a good win for Hibbert.

Been mandatory for the Southern Area Since October but opponents keep dropping out (Boylan vacated to avoid him). Reckon he will be knocking on the door to fight for the English / British title soon.

McCarthy's one was as Johnny called it - got too involved in a scrap.
