Both can bang, both have suspect chins...come on!! I pick Freitas but he must improve his technical ability if he is to prevail. Trying to wade in with wild hooks from the waist like he did against Gregorian will not beat the smart Corrales, but if he stays tight and let's the punches go at the right time he will get Diego out of there IMO

Freitas has the better chin, but Corrales showed that he can outbox Cassamayor, and so I figure him to be favourite in this one. If he gets involved in a brawl however I reckon he could be in bother.

Yeah great fight to look forward to this one. Have to hand it to Diego, he doesn't exactly avoid tough fights does he? And while both have been on the canvas a few times, they almost always come back swinging.
In fact I don't think there's anything wrong with the Freitas chin.
Corrales is like a mini Tommy Hearns though: A freakishly tall box- fighter, with a massive punch on him too.
I thought he looked great last time out. Corrales gets a points win, with a few thrills and spills on the way.

Fantastic fight, but I'm going for Freitas I just think he is the one with the better chin and more power. Corrales is not exactly easy to hit and I think Freitas has enough about to land one, when behind on points.

Im surprised most are going for Freitas, I thought Freitas looked awful in his last fight and was perhaps lucky against Barrios. I think Corrales is the bigger hitter, Corrales seems to have effortless power, he'll throw what looks like a weak punch but it has a devastating effect. Imo Corrales is P4P the hardest puncher in boxing currently.

Acelino has really been loading up and I definately see Corrales taking him out with one of those powerful short hooks he can throw. Corrales has beaten the better opp I think as well. Great fight, bombs away.

Freitas chin isn't the greatest but he doe's have this tendancy to recover pretty quickly, regardless of that, Corrales's power is way overrated.

shit this is hard to call. Got a gut feeling Freitas is gonna win. But Corrales showed improvement against Casamyor....my god what a 50-50 fight. Had a few of these this year.

I think this is gonna be fight of the year! But I hope Freitas wins. Just some things u wanna say recently Freitas has been in with Ramirez, Casamayor, Barrios (close), and Grigorian who some might say was nothing special but he was going for record Lightweight title defences(Bennie Leonards record). Recently a loss and a win to Casamayor and a little while ago he beat Gainer, Angel Mandefry and Gairy St Clair but he also lost to Mayweather! Freitas's opponents at Super feather were mainly mandatory's that nobody had heard of but porbably good fighters! So whos has fought better competition!

But I'll got for a Freitas TKO over Corrales!

But it is going to be a hell of a fight!
