Gennady Golovkin-Daniel Geale Round-By-Round Coverage

Post by BetDSI »

World Championship Boxing returns to Madison Square Garden as the sport's fastest rising superstar Gennady "GGG" Golovkin defends his WBA and IBO Middleweight World Titles against two-time world champion Daniel Geale of Sydney, Australia.

Golovkin has the highest knockout ratio of any active world champion (89.66%) with a record of 29-0-0 (26KO's) and 33-year-old Geale has a record 30-2-0 (16KO's) and has never been knocked out.

Many boxing experts expect Geale to present the strongest challenge to date for Golovkin, who's currently riding the stream of a sensational 16-fight streak of knockouts.

However, Golovkin is also making his return after the unexpected death of his father that has kept him out of action since Feb. 1.

Will "GGG" make a statement in his comeback and extend the streak to 17? Or will the always-dangerous Geale prove too much for the vulnerable knockout artist at this time?

We'll be providing live, round-by-round coverage from the fight from start to finish, including pre-fight odds and adjusted odds as the fight moves along.

2-0 Perez

Both are tentative and a lot is falling short.

3-0. The question is if Perez has enough steam for 12 rounds.

If Jennings is the best the U.S. have they really don't have much. Wilder must be better surely?

Perez dominating here, won every round up to now.

Perez is too fat, getting tired now and Jennings coming into it more. Still about 3 rounds behind though.

Perez' offense seems to be one punch and hold. If Jennings is busy he oughta win all the rest of the rounds

If there is a fight to demonstrate the consequences of the decline of the jab in modern boxing this is it. Sloppy fight.
