Confidence-building fights are legit, but this is way over the top. Salka is an unworthy tomato can who disgraces the concept of a title challenger. He presents NO challenge to Danny...

Agree, champions have a level they shouldn't go below & #1 guys in a division got a higher level they shouldn't go below in regards to opponents. However you gauge Danny imo this opponent is below that threshold.

he wasn't a title challenger, and i have seen worse tomato cans in non-title fights.
in the old days, they did this a lot, but they fought more often in the old days
and they fought the best when people wanted to see the fights. if garcia fights
peterson next, i give them both a pass for yesterday's opponents as long as
they don't make a habit of it.
