Publicist: Andre what's your take on your place in professional boxing and how it compares to the amatuer days?
Andre Dirrel: "Well, I miss the good ol' amatuer boxing days where we would have fun, drama, and ring wars in the gym and our coach would
load up the mini van to pick us up on weekend to compete. After the fights we would eat chili dogs, frito pies, nachos, hamburgers and soda
ALL for only $2.25!!!!! Then our parents would take us to Sea World if we won 3 amatuer fights in a row as reward!! The good ol days!!!!!
The pros man these guys are too serious it's too much money involved. No more Sea World as reward on weekends, no minivan pick ups on
the weekends, no more pussy from girls calling me the next Ali or Roy Jones Jr, no more after schools specials on MTV before heading to the
gym at 6p, again no more uncles and aunts calling me the next Ali, no more fun at the weigh ins before amatuer tournaments against guys
that I knew I could've easily beaten. Those days are gone! No guys are wanting to freakin take my head off behind PRIZE MONEY. I HATE
IT!!!!!!! Guy's take it seriously now having new borns on the way and having to feed their family I can't cope with this!!"
Publicist: Wow Andre I wasn't expecting all of this!
Andre: Well it's how I feel!

Re: Andre Dirrel Q & A
For some reason, that answer from Dirrell gave me a lot of respect for him.
