It would have been stopped in round 2. But to be fair was Round 9 safe? Its devil if you do devil if you don't. Any of those 2 could have been seriously hurt and then the blame would have lied with the ref who didnt seem to care a damn.

I'm also thinking the ref knew both fighters in terms of there career and how they took punches.

I wish that ref was in the ring when we had that classic Johnny Nelson v Carlos De Leon someone nearly was killed in that fight.
