Ex prisoners boxing....?

Post by Tommy sweet t »

Does anyone know of any current boxers who hold a licence with the bbboc whilst they have been on probation or subject to licence from a prison sentence?

If you are on license from prison, the board won't license you, probation may be a different matter.

I had a fighter that was on trial for 2nd degree murder and fought while waiting to be found guilty or not guilty and was found guilty and sentenced to 14 years in prison the day after his title fight believe it was for a NABC tile something like that biggest fight of his life and then sentenced the next day to a bigger fight of your life not sure if this is even really even answer to question but made me think of it

expe has nailed this one, mate. If you're on a licence, you're going to struggle. I can't think of any exceptions but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Probation is a different matter and, depending on terms, won't rule you out. Speak to the Board, they're the ones with the answers. All the best.

 thank you, I read it once and laughed and read it again and laughed a lot; you have a very dry humour and it's appreciated.

Heavyweight prospect Richard Towers did a stint for being involved in a kidnap if my memory serves me. But I am not sure if he still on licence or not?
